Overview of strawberry varieties

Our tray plants are basically grown with mainly organic fertilisers and beneficial fungi. Van der Avoird Trayplant supplies tray plants in various sizes of both day-neutral and short-day varieties. The focus within the company is particularly on the day-neutral varieties.

Arabella

Arabella is a day-neutral variety from Plant Sciences. The variety has good yield potential with fruits that are easy to pick.

Aurora Karima

Aurora Karima is a very productive everbearing variety from Mattivi in Italy. Besides of its productivity Aurora Karmia produces juicy and tasty fruits.

Ania

Everbearing variety of CIV from Italy with high chill needs. Medium vigor with an upright growth habit. The picking season is long and constant.

Favori

During cultivation, this variety has an open, elongated crop and produces new flower stalks easily.

Florice

Everbearing variety of Flevo Berry with beautiful short conical fruits. Florice is a productive variety with intense red and firm fruits that are not very sensitive to pressure points.

Furore

Furore is a fast grower with strong development of new rhizomes.

Hademar

Highly productive perpetual Flevo Berry variety with a high percentage of class 1 fruits.

Murano

Day-neutral variety from CIV from Italy with good production and shelf life. Constant in production with good flavour.
